My hometown Vienna is colorful and multicultural, but also imperial flair can still be found here at every corner. On the one hand a modern, pulsating big city and yet comfortable and pleasant to live in. Even the Romans settled here and their love for wine still accompanies us Viennese today. Vienna, therefore, offers countless possibilities to go on a voyage of discovery. I would be happy to advise and accompany you on your tour through my hometown.<\/p>\n

My focus is on the history of the House Habsburg and encompassing their stories. I will also guide you through the not so well known places with in the city including religious sites and the Jewish Quarter. As an art historian and a tour guide for sacred spaces Vienna is the perfect place for me to work. Being a native of Vienna, I am very familiar with the Viennese cuisine, and culinary tours are also a big favourite of mine.<\/p><\/div>

The former imperial summer residence Sch\u00f6nbrunn Palace is a must-see on any visit to Vienna: the buildings at Sch\u00f6nbrunn still shine in the classic Sch\u00f6nbrunn yellow, the imperial color of the Habsburg dynasty, and it magically attracts visitors, but not only the staterooms are worth a tour, but also the wonderful baroque park.<\/p>\n

The Palm House, the Botanical Gardens, the Gloriette, from where you can enjoy a wonderful view over the entire complex, or the Sch\u00f6nbrunn Zoo await the visitor in the most beautiful local recreation area of the Viennese. <\/span><\/p>\n

The artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser was very active in many areas. in architecture he was considered a rebel. his vision was free architecture for all, without norms, specifications, and straight lines.<\/p>\n

He has made this vision a reality by helping to design various buildings, one of his first and most important projects being the residential building of the municipality of Vienna.<\/p>\n

If you are a fan of exceptional architecture and like buildings in the style of Antoni Gaudi, you should not miss this highlight in Vienna.<\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div>

Jewish Vienna<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Vienna is home to the oldest Jewish museum in the world, and the history of the Viennese Jewish community goes back to the Middle Ages.
